Expert Guidance & Personalized Attention
Supporting ISAK’s fundamental mission to help students develop into transformational leaders with a strong academic background, our university counseling department understands that choosing a university is an individual process, unique to each student. Our goal is to work closely with our students to successfully guide them through each step of the university application and admission process. We believe university counseling involves taking the time to be thoughtful about the process, exploring all options with an open mind, and finding schools that are the right fit.
Our university counselors encourage our students to start considering university options beginning in Year 1 (Grade 10). Students are encouraged to explore a variety of opportunities for higher education, with the understanding that their growth and development at ISAK may bring a change in direction as time goes on. Guidance and support includes helping students understand each step in the university application and admission process, including researching universities, understanding standardized testing options as well as when and how to prepare for each test, completing and submitting applications, essay writing and applying for financial aid.
From the first steps of the research process to the final stage of decision-making, our two highly experienced, dedicated counselors are committed to helping students find the right match – both intellectually and personally. As a new school, ISAK will have university statistics to share in the fall of 2017; we expect that next year ISAK graduates will be enrolling in top ranking universities in Japan, the U.S., and around the globe.
